About Us

Mostra Del Cavallo is a website built by Italian people for tourists visiting the country to learn horse riding. Italy has different cultures, but the abundant wine and amazing food varieties seem to overshadow the horse-riding culture. Ten percent of Italian lands are preserved which gives riders a good diversity of natural space to take their horse-riding adventure.

For a long time, horses have been painted as a means of transportation but the horse-riding culture in Italy still presents them as recreational animals. Many tourists to Italy are not aware of this culture, hence do not make provision for them in their itinerary. Mostra Del Cavallo hopes to make the horse-riding culture popular to help tourists have a wider picture of Italy.

Our Belief

We believe that Italy is not properly represented in the world. When many people talk about Italy, they are quick to talk about the red wines and the culinary masterpieces that are served on their tables. Only a handful knows about the horse-riding culture. We believe that more tourists will be willing to explore the equestrian culture if it is advertised like the culinary culture.

Many people around the world nurse the passion of becoming professional riders but are unaware of where to find horse riding schools. There are lots of horse-riding schools where riders can hone their skills in different aspects of horse riding; from dressage to walk to canter. Some of the horse-riding schools offer other perks like accommodation and feeding for a specified period of time.

Apart from the vibrant horse-riding culture, Italy also has a large diversity of horse breeds giving riders the opportunity to find a breed that resonates with their skills and experience. The riding instructors are also highly experienced to help the riders have the best of horse-riding experience around the historic locations of the city.

Our Mission

At Mostra Del Cavallo, we are committed to preserving and promoting the horse-riding culture by creating awareness that will make tourists want to give it a try. We also want to help tourists actualize their horse-riding childhood dreams by promoting equestrian schools.

Italy has a lot of historic places and islands that are at the risk of being forgotten. We think it is our responsibility to make sure that these historic locations are not forgotten. Mingling with nature is not only refreshing but promotes healthy living. We take the responsibility of advocating for horse riding cultures in Italy so that it will inspire the preservation of similar cultures around the world.

Our Heritage

Our cultures are part of our identities. Allowing a part of our culture to die is akin to losing a part of our identity. We, therefore, think it is part of our responsibility to help preserve the horse-riding culture. This culture also helps to preserve the noble status of horses and keep them close to our existence. It would be ethically unfair to ignore the place of these animals that served us many years ago as a means of transportation.

We urge every rider to treat their horses with love and take steps to avoid actions that may hurt them. It will suffice to take a few riding lessons before your first mount to avoid mounting the horses wrongly and making the animals nervous.

Horse riding culture is a legacy that we have to uphold and past to future generation.
